In Memorium: Thomas S. Mason

It is with great sadness that we announce that Thomas Mason, 66, passed away on Tuesday morning, Nov. 23, 2010.

Tom was the current President of the Warren Civic Chorus, the organization which annually presents G.F. Handel's "The Messiah." Tom was a long-time member of the Chorus, a key tenor that anchored the section, and a dedicated volunteer to the group.

Tom was loved by all who knew him, and known by many, he had the ability to make friends in minutes and keep them for life. A devoted husband, the world's best dad and grandpa, a trusted mentor and a great friend, Tom will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dian Mason (Lewis); son, Scott (Anita); daughter, Jennifer McIntire and son, Adam (Mandy); three grandchildren, Connie and Alan Mason and Jack McIntire.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mason family as they navigate through this difficult time.

Visitation will be held at Robert H. Roberts-Clark Memorial Home in Warren from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 3. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 4, at the funeral home.

The family asks that any material contributions be made to the Warren Civic Chorus, P.O. Box 2471, Warren, Ohio 44484-2471, or to TNR (Trap, Neuter and Release) of Warren, P.O Box 2477, Warren, Ohio 44483.

Family and friends may send condolences at Roberts-Clark Memorial Home.

Thank you, Tom. We will miss you and know that your voice will be welcomed by the angels above.
